The 352nd Industrial and Commercial Forum

CNAIC held the 352^nd Industrial and Commercial Forum titled “Observation and Insights from COP29” at the Taipei International Convention Center on January 20, 2025, with the participation of more than 150 delegates from the business community. Featuring keynote speeches by Professor Chien-Ming Lee from the Institute of Natural Resources and Management, National Taipei University, and Emeritus Professor Sheng-Chung Lin from the Department of International Business, Chung Yuan Christian University, the forum discussed key issues covered at COP29, including the implementation strategies for Article 6 of the Paris Agreement, trends of climate finance, and the latest developments in international carbon trading. From the sharing by the two speakers, participants gained a better understanding on the latest progress on global climate actions and net-zero strategies.
